Dirt it has an evil soil
Dirt it really makes you toil
Vacuum sweep and wipe it out
Scrub it from your shower grout
Add some dish soap and it’s gone
It hides underneath your lawn
Comes in from your boots and shoes
Inside outside you must choose
Piles up on the window sill
Wash it off but its there still
Clogs the vacuum’s filter bad
Dirt it really makes me mad
Way too much dirt comes in here
Wipe those boots off will you dear?
Idk, if you wanted it clean, wouldn’t you live in the city?
Ewww, city? Yuck! LoL

The city is so much filthier and grimier. I just wanted to have some fun with it. Hell, I make art out of dirt. If you can’t beat ’em join ’em!

Yes, I remember reading your blog about those balls of dirt.
You’d think cities would be cleaner, but the reality of it… they aren’t.

BTW I don’t see dirt as being full of germs. I probably consume about a teaspoon a day 🙂 along with my food. It just rhymed.

Oh we don’t consider dirt as being “dirty” (as in germy) either. LoL
As a matter of fact, we hate the overuse of antibiotic soap, “that” leads to sickness.

I agree. I once worked for a couple that were completely anal about germs. They boiled every single bottle of milk even when they had a baby. That baby ended up with severe allergies.

And our garden that grew our lovely veggies is dirt. I DIG in it all of the time. Hmmm. Maybe I should write a second version. You have inspired me Kenneth.
